Bryan Bailey

Bryan Bailey has been the Coordinator of Performance Program Research for the University of Nebraska Athletic Department under the realm of Boyd Epley, Director of Athletic Performance, for the past 16 years. During this time he has worked with Olympic Team Gold Medallists, Jim Hartung for Gymnastics and Penny Heyne for Swimming, as well as several Outland, Butkus, Unitas, and Heisman winners, including Will Shields, Trev Alberts, Eric Crouch, Tommie Frazier, Zach Wiegert, and Grant Wistrom—to name a few. His main focus is skilled offensive football players. Bryan also works with athletes preparing for professional drafts and try-outs in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. Bryan is sought out by many former athletes for instruction regarding their off-season strength and conditioning program.

Bryan received his Master’s Degree from the United States Sports Academy in Exercise Science, along with a B. S. Degree from the University of Nebraska.

Bryan is recognized nationally for his innovative training methods. He co-authored the book, Complete Conditioning for Football, with Mike Arthur. It is published by Human Kinetics and is sold to many coaches throughout the nation. Bryan has been instrumental in developing the biomechanical evaluation process for athletes. He utilizes several state of the art modalities such as un-weighted high-speed treadmills, protonics, and the Dynamic Edge Machine as a principal part of an integrated strength and conditioning program to develop bilateral symmetry and enhance balance and mobility skills, as well as body mechanics.

Bryan has been honored to work under, and is a close friend to one of the most respected NCAA college football coaches in America—Tom Osborne—who led the University of Nebraska football teams to three national championships.
