Certification Requirements Summary
The following items must be received in the National Office no later than 3 weeks prior to the examination in order to be eligible to sit for the SCCC examination. There will be no exceptions.
- Membership Dues: Practicum students (full-time or GA) - $50; Non-Practicum students (Full-time prior to September 1, 2000) - $100

- Practicum/Internship Fee: $300 for those required to fulfill the practicum requirement.

- Certification Fee: $200

- College/University Transcripts: Sealed, official transcript verifying attainment of a Bachelor’s Degree. Transcripts issued to students, or copies, will not be accepted. Transcripts must be sent directly from the University’s Records Department in an official, sealed envelope.
- CPR Card: Copy of the front and back of CPR card, which must be current on the date of the exam.
- Strength & Conditioning Program Design: You will receive a letter in early March explaining the requirements for this program.
- Mid-term and Final Evaluation Forms: Signed and submitted by your mentor. (Only applies to those individuals responsible for fulfilling the practicum/internship requirement.)
- Conference Registration Fee (Optional): Practicum students (full-time or GA) will receive the reduced student rate. Non-Practicum students (Full-time prior to September 1, 2000) will pay the regular, full-time rate. NOTE: Conference attendance is not required for certification. However, if you will be staying for the National Conference, you must pay the conference fee prior to attending.
