Todd Tuetken

Finding a Voice

Todd Tuetken has been an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at The University of Texas since the fall of 2013. Currently, he develops the Strength and Conditioning Programs for Men's and Women's Track and Field, Men's Swimming, and Women's Golf. During his tenure, Tuetken has trained: two Olympic Games record holders, nine Olympic Medalist, a Bowerman Award winner, over 100 All-American athletic honors, eight NCAA individual champions, two NCAA Championship Teams, 14 Big 12 Conference Championship Teams

Prior to Texas, Tuetken served as a graduate assistant from 2011-2013 for Olympic sports at Iowa State University. He oversaw all training aspects for Men's and Women's Track and Field, Women's Soccer, Women's Gymnastics, and Men's and Women's Golf, while assisting with Wrestling and Men's Basketball. After earning his M.Ed. from Iowa State University, he completed a summer internship for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during their OTA program.

The Monticello, Iowa, native earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Iowa State University in 2011 and his master's degree in Higher Education in 2013. During his athletic career at Iowa State University, he competed on the Football team and Track and Field team from 2007-2009. Todd lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Kelsey Tuetken.
