Nate Baukol

Training Considerations for the University of North Dakota

Nate Baukol is in his fifth season as North Dakota's director of strength and conditioning, and eighth season overall at UND. Baukol served as assistant strength and conditioning coach at UND from 2002 to 2005 before taking a similar position at the University of Wyoming in May 2006. A native of Moorhead, Minn., Baukol graduated from Minnesota State Moorhead in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He received his master's degree in kinesiology from UND in 2004. Baukol is a certified strength coach through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also a certified Level I Olympic lifting club coach and is certified in Functional Movement Screen (FMS). Baukol's family includes his wife Jennifer, daughter Emma, and son Gunnar.
