CSCCa 2010 National Conference and 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

Please plan now to attend the 2010 CSCCa Annual National Conference and 10-Year Anniversary Celebration May 5-7, 2010, in Orlando, Florida! You will not want to miss this exciting and historic event!

CSCCa National Conference

All members are encouraged to prepare now to attend the 2010 CSCCa Annual National Conference, which will be held for the first time in Orlando, Florida, Wednesday, May 5 through Friday, May 7 (Note: The Certification Examination will be given Wednesday, May 5th). Room reservations should be made at the Marriott World Center in Orlando. All Conference exhibits and sessions will be held in the hotel's conference facility. We have many exciting events and speakers planned! Room reservations can be made by calling: 1-800-228-9290. This rate will only be available until April 15, 2010 or until our room block is full, which ever comes first.  Please be sure and make your reservations well in advance of this date! We have a specific number of rooms available in our room block at our special rate, and once those are full, we will probably not be able to secure additional rooms, as there are other major conference groups in the hotel during our conference week. 

Because we will be hosting another exhibitor/member social on Wednesday night at 6:00 pm, we are requesting that everyone schedule travel arrangements to ensure attendance at this fun and entertaining event. There will be plenty of food, drinks, and prizes! We are planning to hold a round table discussion Wednesday, May 5, from 3:00-5:00 pm. It will be moderated by Jim Lathrop and Ron Thompson from Purdue University.

Orlando International Airport Shuttle

If you are not in need of a rental car, we recommend that you take advantage of discounted rates available to our conference attendees on the Mears Motor Shuttle transportation between the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and the Orlando World Center Marriott. Please be aware that these rates do not apply to any other airport. Shuttle rates may be considerably higher from other airports. Click on the link provided below and print the discount coupon and present it to the Mears Transportation booth attendant to receive a CSCCa attendee discount of $4 off the round trip fare of $33 on shuttle transportation between the airport and the hotel. This coupon also applies to children (ages 4-11) - children’s round trip fare is $26. The discount coupon can only be used towards round trip fares, not one-way fares. (One way fare for adults is $20 and one way fare for children is $16.) Mears Shuttle runs 24 hours a day between the airport and the hotel. 

Shuttles depart from the airport approximately every 30 minutes. To arrange your shuttle travel to the Orlando World Center Marriott, go to the nearest Mears Transportation counter on Level 1 of the Orlando International Airport when you arrive. All transportation will depart from Level 1. The counter personnel will direct you to the shuttle.  Arrival reservations are encouraged but not required. Return reservations are required. One day prior to your return to the Orlando International Airport at the end of your stay at the Orlando World Center Marriott, make a return reservation by calling Mears Transportation at 407-423-5566 or book on-line. Please plan to allow three hours prior to your flight time for your transfer to the airport.

Orlando is one of the most popular vacation spots in the world. CSCCa attendees and their families have access to discounted tickets to many popular local attractions. Please Note that Pre-Order Rates on Attraction Tickets & Excursions are available until Monday May 3rd, 2010. A minimum of 72 hours prior to arrival is required in order to process orders effectively. *All rates include all state and local taxes.
