MSCC- Emeritus

MSCC coaches may apply for Emeritus status if they meet both of the following:

1. Are retired from strength and conditioning coaching and do not plan to return to employment as a strength and conditioning coach. 

2. Do not plan to maintain their SCCC certification.

To become MSCC-E one must simply email ceu@cscca.org and declare their intent to enter into Emeritus status and that they will no longer be maintaining their SCCC certification and submitting recertification requirements. This person will no longer be required to maintain CEUs and will lose their SCCC certification at the end of the current CEU cycle.

MSCC-E to MSCC Reinstatement Policy:

• Individuals holding the MSCC-E (Emeritus) designation are not required to maintain the SCCC certification.

• However, if an MSCC-E wishes to transfer back to full MSCC status, he or she must re-apply to earn the SCCC credential. This includes:
  ☑ Meeting all recertification requirements in effect at that time.
  ☑ Paying all applicable fees.
  ☑ These steps must be completed within the next CEU cycle following their SCCC lapse.
  
  
• If an MSCC-E seeks to return back to full MSCC status after an entire 3-year CEU cycle has passed where they can submit reinstatement requirements, they must:
  ☑ Pass the written portion of the certification exam
  ☑ Submit a copy of their current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
  ☑ Pay all applicable fees
