Developing world class talent is integral to the success of a team, and every institution has a different opinion of what "Greatness" is. The environment, culture and feedback is essential to this development. This group of panelists will share lessons from years of building teams and how they laid out their philosophies for success with some of the greatest female collegiate basketball players in the country.

Coach Kimball joined the UConn staff in 2004. She is responsible for all aspects of training for the National Championship Women's Basketball team and the Men's Golf team. Amanda has coached student-athletes from Women's Basketball to 6 National Championships, 9 Final Four appearances, 9 NCAA tournament appearances and 15 Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championships. Prior to her current team assignments, Amanda worked with Women's Lacrosse, Women's Rowing, Women's Volleyball, Softball and the 2-time National Championship Field Hockey team. In her time with Field Hockey, she coached student-athletes to 2 National Championships, 5 Final Four appearances, 9 NCAA tournament appearances and 13 Regular Season and Conference Championships. Since 2004, Amanda has coached 50 All-Americans

In 2008 Amanda earned her license as a massage therapist and works closely with Athletic Training to take preventative and rehabilitation measures in implementing massage.

Amanda serves as the internship coordinator and has participated in the design of both the 18,000 sq. ft. Shenkman training center and the 4000 sq. ft. Werth Champions training center.

Prior to her appointment at UConn, Amanda served as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Springfield College, primarily training Women's Basketball, Men's Sprinters/Jumpers, Men's Volleyball and assisting with Football. During her time at Springfield she also completed internships at Harvard University and Florida State University.

Amanda has been sought out to speak on the international, national and regional level on topics including building national championship programs, alternative training methods, massage therapy and restorative methods, and performance testing.

A native of Arundel, Maine, Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Maine and her Master of Education degree from Springfield College. She earned her LMT from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. She was a 4 year letter winner at the University of Southern Maine in the sport of basketball.
