Troy Jorgensen

Head

Troy Jorgensen began his strength and conditioning career in 1998 as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for St. Albert High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In 1999 he began his collegiate strength and conditioning career at Utah State University as Assistant Coach under the direction of Shawn Griswold. At Utah State, he was responsible for softball, women's soccer, gymnastics, track and field, and tennis. Jorgensen also assisted with football and basketball.

In 2002 he assumed the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach position at UCLA where he worked directly with football, men's basketball, softball, gymnastics, women's swimming and men's soccer. During his tenure at UCLA, 10 NCAA championships were won, the football team went to four bowl games, men's basketball attended the final four, and the softball team went to the college world series.

In 2006, Jorgensen assumed the role of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri, where he currently works today. At Missouri Southern, Jorgensen oversees all 14 varsity sports. He works directly with football, men's and women's basketball, softball, women's soccer, and golf.

Coach Jorgensen holds certification from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association. An Iowa native, Jorgensen graduated from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, where he was also a four-year letter winner in football. In 2007, he earned his Master's degree from Utah State University.

Troy would like to thank Shawn Griswold for giving him his start in the profession. He would also like to thank Master Strength Coach Doc Kreis for all of his help and guidance in his career. Jorgensen is also thankful for all the outstanding coaches and athletes he has had the privilege to work with over his career. He is most proud of his younger brother Tyler, who is an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, for following in his big brother's footsteps in this great profession. He would especially like to thank his family and his Wife Heather for all of their selfless love and support.

Jorgensen and his wife Heather are the proud parents of four children.
