The CSCCa is committed to working with other professional organizations to protect the health, safety, and well being of the athlete. There are many different groups of professionals who work directly with the athlete to help him/her maximize his/her athletic performance safely and effectively. These include athletic administrators, sport head and position coaches, sports nutritionists, athletic trainers, team physicians, equipment managers, etc, as well as other organizations outside the athletic department, such as the Taylor Hooton Foundation and the "I Play Clean" program. Each of these professional organizations has a different area of focus, but it is important for the professionals within these organizations to work together to make a safer, more productive environment for the athlete.
