Texas Woman’s University (Denton, TX, Division II, Lone Star Conference) is seeking applicants
for the position of Sports Performance Graduate Assistant. The Graduate Assistant will report
directly to the Head Sports Performance Coach and be responsible for the design and implementation of training programs for 3-4 teams. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the remaining programs, working with the Sports Medicine staff, communicating with sport coaches, and facility & equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Acceptance into TWU graduate school

• SCCC (CSCCA) or CSCS (NSCA) certification

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification

• Previous collegiate or professional strength and conditioning internship experience

Compensation: $1109 / month for those obtaining a Master’s degree, and $1352 / month for Doctoral candidates. Tuition waiver for 6 credit hours per semester. This is a 10 month position from August-May. Out of state applicants will receive in-state tuition waiver.
