Mason Baggett joins the Nevada football team on Jan. 3, 2022 after spending the past year as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Oregon. Baggett spent the previous four years as the Associate Director of Football Strength and Conditioning at the University of Maryland. Prior to his time at Maryland, Baggett served as Associate Strength Coach at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Baggett was a Strength and Conditioning Specialist at EXOS in Camp LeJune, NC for almost four years. He worked with Marine Special Operations Command for the Human Performance and Resiliency Program (MPOTFF). He was directly responsible for the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for operators and support personnel with the 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion. Coach Baggett earned his bachelor's from Virginia Tech in the Science of Food, Nutrition, and Exercise in 2006. He went on to earn his master's in Health Promotion and Sport Performance from Virginia Tech in 2008.
