Posture, Vibration, and Application in Sport

Biography:
Travis Illian is soon to enter his third season as the head strength and conditioning coach for the University of Connecticut men's basketball program. He was brought on by Coach Kevin Ollie to design, organize, and implement individualized programs to meet each players specific needs including strength and conditioning, speed and agility, flexibility and recovery strategies. Travis has a passion for nutrition, bioenergetics, phytonutrients, posture, and the impact these have on training and success. He also continues to learn and develop his passion for vibration training and the effects it has on the neuromuscular system. Travis was a part of the Huskies 2014 NCAA Championship. Previous to the University of Connecticut, Travis was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Alabama working primarily with women's gymnastics under legendary coaches David and Sarah Patterson where he was an integral part of two SEC Championships and two consecutive NCAA Championships. Travis completed his Master's and Ph.D in Human Performance from the University of Alabama and did his undergraduate work at Texas Lutheran University.
