Ron Jones

Career Development: What is it and Why is it Important?

Ron Jones is the chief architect and implementer of the Copious Sports Information Network (CSIN) software application. He works fulltime for CSIN and drives the ongoing development effort for the platform. Ron has an undergraduate degree in computer science from Dartmouth College where he also played varsity basketball and a graduate degree from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Ron is the founder and CEO of Copious Technologies, LLC. Prior to building Copious Technologies, LLC, over the last 20 years, Ron has worked in significant leadership capacities with financial services companies such as at KeyCorp, Banc One, CitiGroup and NCNB (now Bank of America) and an innovative multi-functional consulting firm. During that time, his efforts and achievements were focused on leveraging technology to increase the revenue, efficiency and contribution margin of existing business units, developing new revenue channels and creating new business ventures for the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds, reaching both domestic and international markets. Ron built the largest financial based Ariba AMNE Internet Based eMarketplace in North America in three years, as measured by purchase order activity, total transaction dollars and supplier base.
