MSCC Class of 2001

Boyd Epley

University of Nebraska

Boyd Epley finished his 37th year of service to the University of Nebraska as Director of strength and conditioning and Associate Athletic Director. Boyd's pioneering efforts allowed the Nebraska program and facilities to be nationally recognized as one of the premier programs in the country as his 36 person Performance Team provided strength, conditioning, and nutrition services to 23 sports. His magic was done behind the scenes, but all Nebraska Football players he worked won at least one championship ring and played in a bowl game. Nebraska won five national championships after Coach Bob Devaney asked Boyd to start the Husker Power Program in 1969.
