Part-Time Assistant Strength Coach

The University of Toledo is seeking applications for a paid, part-time 1 year Assistant Strength and Conditioning position for Olympic Sports beginning in the Fall 2022.

Interested applicants must be highly motivated, organized, have good interpersonal skills, be able to motivate and educate, and have a strong interest in pursuing a career as a strength and conditioning coach.

Applicants will be directly responsible for assisting the Head and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach’s with the training of all athletic teams (excluding football). Experience in performing and/or teaching the Olympic style lifts is required.

Other duties include but not limited to: assisting in the day to day cleaning, maintenance, and operation of facility; effectively work and communicate with staff, coaches, and administrators; organize and implement team and individual competition activities; and participate in educational projects and assignments. Experience in Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches (SCCC), USA Weightlifting (USAW), or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification is required.
