The Intercollegiate Athletics Department at Auburn University is seeking qualified applicants for a sports performance graduate assistant for Olympics Sports (no specific sports assignment).

Duties:

? Technical instruction, demonstration of technique and skills, motivation, development of discipline, testing, and evaluation of athlete’s performance.

? On-floor supervision of the weight training facility for safety, motivation, technique in program, and adjustments relative to all student athletes who utilize the facility.

? Oversee maintenance and upkeep of facility and equipment.

Qualifications:

SCCC or CSCS required.

Bachelor's degree and admission to an Auburn University graduate program.

Strong organizational and computer skills. (Microsoft Office)

The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet established work deadlines.

Some evening and weekend hours required.

Compensation & Tuition Waivers:

Stipend $1235 per month

Tuition waived; student fees are not.

Preference will be given to applicants interested in a career in Sports Performance in intercollegiate athletics upon completion of graduate program.
