GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Graduate Assistants objective is to design and administer strength, speed, agility, flexibility, aerobic, anaerobic and plyometric training programs that decrease the likelihood of athletic injuries and improve athletic performance. We provide individualized programs to athlete’s specific sport with appropriate training volumes, rest times, frequencies and resistance loads while also modifying training based on signs of overtraining and phase of the season. We educate athletes and coaches on what proper nutrition and recovery is and the roles they play, at least one member of the strength staff is monitoring all lift sessions, and we keep chronological records of each athlete to see their developments throughout their collegiate career.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Strength and Conditioning Intern
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and implementation of sport specific strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams
Demonstration and instruction of Olympic weightlifting techniques
Supervise team workouts, individual workouts, and open hours.
Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Required)
CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification or working towards
Previous strength and conditioning experience in a collegiate setting; experience in designing and implementing workout programs.
Compensation: Full Tuition and a $5000 stipend.
Start date: August 4, 2025.
