St. Bonaventure University’s Sports Performance Department is seeking highly motivated internship candidates for the fall of 2025. Interns will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in a Division I Collegiate Strength and Conditioning setting. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting with supervision and execution of strength and conditioning training programs for a variety of the university's athletic teams; set up and break down for daily activities, routine maintenance and cleaning of the training facilities, and participation in the internship curriculum. A significant benefit of this internship is the opportunity to accumulate the 640 practicum/internship hours required for the CSCCa exam.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing bachelors/masters in exercise science or related field
Certified in or pursuing CPR/First Aid
Candidates must have a strong work ethic and have a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional.
Pursuing NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCa-SCCC certification(s).
Compensation: This is a non-paid volunteer position. You will gain experience as well as the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Strength and Conditioning.
