The Florida Atlantic University Olympic Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns for the upcoming semester. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collegiate strength and conditioning setting, working with athletes across various sports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for FAU athletes.
- Help conduct training sessions, focusing on proper technique and safety.
- Assist in monitoring and recording athlete performance and progress.
- Participate in educational workshops and staff meetings.
- Support the maintenance of the strength and conditioning facility.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an exercise science, kinesiology, or related program.
- Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles, exercise techniques, and injury prevention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sports and athlete development.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings.

2. Write up on why you've chosen the field of strength and conditioning and why you'd like to work within the collegiate team setting
3. Three videos demonstrating your teaching and execution of the following exercises:
- Barbell Back Squat
- Barbell Bench Press
- One additional exercise of your choice
