Harvard Strength and Conditioning is accepting applications for their Fall 2025 Strength and Conditioning Internship Program. We are looking to fill 8-10 positions for the fall. This is a volunteer, UNPAID, position that offers Division I experience with 42 varsity sports and training in an educational environment. You will gain valuable program writing and hands on coaching experience to become a successful strength and conditioning coach. This internship is CSCCa mentorship approved and will help you prepare for the SCCC exam. There is also potential for future recommendations or opportunities in the field of strength and conditioning.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the strength and conditioning staff in the training of the Harvard University athletic programs, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties, assisting in the set-up and break-down of equipment for every workout, various fuel/nutrition station duties, and participation in weekly program writing assignments.
Required Qualifications: *Applicants must be affiliated with an academic institution and receive class credit for internship hours* Must have a strong work-ethic, enthusiasm, and a desire to develop the characteristics necessary to become a successful strength and conditioning coach.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/pursuing a degree in exercise science or a related field and pursuing one of the following certifications: SCCC; CSCS or USAW and a CPR/AED—First Aid certification.
