The University of Wyoming Olympic Sports Performance is seeking motivated future strength coaches for the Fall 2025 semester. Interns will gain valuable hands-on coaching experience with NCAA Division I athletes of various sports as well as gaining exposure and experience with multiple technologies such as Eliteform Velocity-Based Training, VALD ForceDecks, VALD SmartSpeed, and Kinexon GPS/LPS. The internship will also include an educational curriculum to learn exercise technique, progressions and regressions, speed and agility, energy system development, programming, periodization, and how to coach. Interns will also have the opportunity to gain the 640 practicum/internship hours required for the CSCCa exam.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the Olympic Sports Performance staff in the implementation of warm-ups, strength, speed, conditioning, and recovery sessions with multiple different sports, the use of technology in training, testing, and data analysis, professional development opportunities, and daily set up and weight room maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelors/masters in exercise science/kinesiology or related field, a desire to become a Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach, and pursuing the NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCa-SCCC certifications.

Compensation: This is an unpaid position. Interns will gain experience and the opportunity to grow in the field of Strength and Conditioning.
