Southeastern University (NAIA — Lakeland, FL) Strength and Conditioning Department is actively seeking a Director/Head of Strength and Conditioning for immediate hire in August 2025. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight and programming of all 20 varsity programs in regards to implementation of strength training, conditioning, speed, agility programs. Monitor and track key performance measurements and collaborate in return to play protocol for student athletes. Help provide nutritional guidance for student-athletes, Assist with facility upkeep and maintenance and the enforcement of all rules and regulations. Oversight of student workers for Fitness center supervision in evenings. Mentor and supervise (2) graduate assistants/interns. Flexibility to travel (minimal/not required). Perform administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred, Certified through the CSCCa (SCCC) or NSCA (CSCS), 3-5 years of relevant full-time experience with athletes in a collegiate or professional strength and conditioning program. First Aid/CPR/AED Certified. Experience with the following preferred: Football and a multitude of other sports. Director would work with football and other sports. Salary can be discussed early in communication.
Familiarity with TeamBuilder and Microsoft Office, and an ability to collaborate and work effectively with a diverse community, with early mornings, and desire to contribute to a team effort with the medical staff.
