Hands On: Overhead Lifts

The Eleiko Instruct Method is known world-wide for how we apply deconstruction of technical lifts such that any level of experience can begin learning weightlifting. This hands-on movement session will focus on teaching the Snatch movement in a fun, dynamic and non-intimidating way.

Adam is a Phoenix Police Officer in Phoenix, Arizona and is currently the Physical Fitness Coordinator of the Phoenix Police Department’s more than 3,000 sworn officers. His primary responsibility is to educate and instruct police officers and recruits on the critical importance of maintaining tactical performance. Adam creates individualized tactical athlete programs on a weekly basis and continues to develop his agency’s performance training program. Additionally, he manages the physical fitness training for all police recruit classes for the largest police academy in the state of Arizona.

Adam is recognized by his state’s Peace Officer Standards and Training Board as a Subject Matter Expert in Physical Fitness. He is an adjunct professor for Rio Salado College, teaching new and veteran police officers on the topics of physical fitness and nutrition. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in Secondary Education. His certifications include TSAC-F (NSCA), USAW-L1, Eleiko Strength Coach Level 1, CrossFit Level 2, and an ACE personal trainer. Adam also coaches at a local CrossFit gym.
