Keith Gray

Director of Sports Performance, Philadelphia Eagles

After ending his collegiate football career at Virginia Tech after the 1994 season, Keith Gray began his coaching career as a student worker under Mike Gentry. Upon graduation, Keith became a graduate assistant at Southern Illinois University (Carbondale), directing the strength program for the SIU football team in 1996.

From there, Gray became a graduate assistant strength coach at Auburn University in the spring of 1997. During his time at Auburn, Gray worked under coaches Jerry Fuqua and Kevin Yoxall with the Auburn football team, whose teams won the 1997 SEC Western Division Championship and the 1998 Peach Bowl. Gray was also the director of the strength program for the Auburn baseball team, helping those teams win the 1997 SEC Championship and the 1998 NCAA Regional Championship.

In September of 1999, Gray was hired as a full-time strength coach at the University of Georgia by Eric Fears, serving as a strength coach for UGA's football, women's gymnastics, and women's tennis teams. Under Gray's guidance, the UGA women's tennis teams won the 2001 SEC Championship, 2002 Indoor National Championship, and the 2002 SEC Championship. The gymnastics team won SEC Championships in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006. They were also NCAA National Champions in 2005 and 2006.

In 2003, Gray was promoted to Associate Head Strength Coach at UGA by head strength coach Dave Van Halanger. This came after Georgia won the 2002 SEC Championship, the program's first championship in 20 years. His teams went on to play in the SEC Championship game again in 2003, 2005 and 2011, winning another SEC title in 2005. During his tenure, UGA went to 13 bowl games, including 3 Sugar Bowls, and finishing #2 in the country on 2 occasions.

Gray was hired in February 2012 by the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. Coach Gray would like to thank all of the athletes and coaches that he has worked with over the years. He would especially like to thank Mike Gentry, Scott Bennett, Jerry Fuqua, Kevin Yoxall, Eric Fears, Dave Van Halanger, and Barry Rubin for their help, guidance, and continued support.
