Timothy Teefy

Assistant Athletic Director of Olympic Sports Perf, Temple University

Tim Teefy joined the Temple Athletics staff as the Head Olympic Strength & Conditioning Coach in January, 2015. His position became Director of Olympic Sports Performance in May, 2016. Teefy came to Temple from Villanova where he had spent three years as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Wildcats.

While at Villanova, Teefy was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the strength and conditioning department for 19 Division I varsity teams, working specifically with men's and women's lacrosse, baseball, field hockey and men's and women's soccer. For three years prior to arriving at Villanova, Teefy held a similar position as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at High Point University in North Carolina.

Teefy has also spent time on the strength staffs at George Mason University and Georgetown University, and was an adjunct faculty member while at George Mason.

He earned his bachelor's degree in physical education/sports management from West Virginia University in 1999 and earned his master's in kinesiology/exercise physiology from West Chester University in 2008. Teefy is Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC), Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach certified, and a Certified Personal Trainer.
