Kevin Yoxall

Head, Auburn University

Kevin Yoxall has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Auburn University since the winter of 1999. Coach Yoxall received an undergraduate degree in special education from East Texas State University in 1983. A collegiate level power-lifter, he was the regional powerlifter holder in 1982. Upon graduation, he taught special education students in the Houston area for 4 years.

Coach Yoxall then obtained a Masters Degree in Physical Education from Texas Christian University in 1989. While at TCU, he served as the graduate strength and conditioning coach from 1987-1989. Kevin became the head strength and conditioning coach there in May of 1989 where he remained through 1993. At that time, he became the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at Minnesota where he remained until 1996, at which time he became the Head Strength and Conditioning coach at UCLA.

While at UCLA, he was named the 1999 NSCA PAC 10 Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year. In 1998, UCLA won the PAC 10 championship. During the 1997 and 98 Football Seasons, the Bruins won 20 games in a row, attending the Cotton Bowl at the conclusion of the '97 season and the Rose bowl and at the conclusion of the '98 season.

Coach Yoxall then left UCLA to become the head strength and conditioning coach at Auburn the beginning of 1999. The Auburn Tigers won the SCC Western Division in football in 2000 and attended the Citrus Bowl. Auburn played in the Peach Bowl this past bowl season.

Coach Yoxall and his wife, Nancy, live in Auburn, Alabama with their two children, Collin and Marlee.
