Jason Pullara

Director of Strength and Conditioning

Jason Pullara is currently in his 5th year as Director of Strength and Conditioning at Purdue University. He spent the previous 18 years in progressive positions at Northwestern University starting his career in 2001 as an Intern at NU and progressing to Assistant and Associate Director prior to being named Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Sports Performance.

Pullara received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University in 2001 and his Master's Degree from Northwestern in 2011 and holds certifications from both the CSCCa and NSCA.
Pullara has served as the Sports Performance Coach for the Northwestern Women's Lacrosse Team during all seven of its NCAA championships from 2005-12. The Northwestern Softball team finished among the top 16 teams in the nation in both 2005 and 2008, while placing second at the 2006 Women's College World Series in 2006 and third in 2007. Jason has helped develop numerous All-Conference and All-America selections, including multiple Players of the Year, Honda Award, and Tewaaraton Trophy winners.

Coach Pullara would like to thank Francis Ruettiger for instilling a love for strength and conditioning, Larry Lilja for believing in him and providing an opportunity at Northwestern, Nick Zostautas for being a teacher and friend, and all the past and current staff at NU for their passion for the University and their commitment to excellence. He is forever grateful for the incredible support he has received from his family, expressly his wife, Erin.
