MSCC Class of 2017

Jarrett Ferguson

Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for foot

A native of Goodview, VA, Jarrett attended and was a walk-on football player for Virginia Tech.

When his playing career concluded, Ferguson interned at Virginia Tech in 2003 and landed his first full time job at Ohio University under MSCC Sonny Sano in 2004.

The following year, Ferguson became the Assistant Strength Coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under MSCC Jeff Connors, and then returned to his alma mater as the Senior Director of Strength & Conditioning for Football under MSCC Mike Gentry.

Coach Ferguson strives to help all his student-athletes become better people by teaching them how building each other up, working hard, and holding yourself and others accountable will help them in their future lives, careers, and relationships.

Jarrett extends a special thanks to Coaches Mike Gentry, Sonny Sano, and Jeff Connors, for sharing their experiences, knowledge, and friendship over the years.

As well as a big thank you to his wife, Kimberly, and their five children: Jaelynn, Addison, Chloe, Jarrett Jr., and Lorelai.
