Drew Kramer

Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program Director

A native of Huntsville, AL, Drew Kramer received his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he was a football letterman. He attended graduate school at Auburn University, earning master's degrees in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics while working as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Drew's first full-time coaching job was at the University of West Georgia where he was the university's first strength coach. After serving two years as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at West Georgia, he accepted at job at Purdue University. Drew spent 5 years at Purdue University as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach before leaving to become the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Western Illinois University for 6 years. Currently, Drew is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist Contractor for KBRwyle assigned to the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School working with Army Special Forces Soldiers and a doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Drew would like to thank the strength coaches that mentored him throughout his career: Ruben Mendoza, Corey Edmond, Bryan Karkoska, Kyle Feldman, Kevin Yoxall, Jim Lathrop, and Ron Thomson. All were an integral part of his growth and development as a coach. He would also like to thank all of the many hardworking assistants, graduate assistants, and interns that he has been fortunate enough to work with through the years. A large part of the success that he has experienced throughout his career was due to the teamwork and contributions from this fine group of coaches.
For their constant love and support, Drew would like to thank his family: parents, Doug and Manette; wife, Meagan; and kids, Vivian and Hoyt.
