Director
Joe Quinlin, MS, SCCC, CSCS, has been the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Northwest Missouri State University since June 2008.
Quinlin oversees all 17 varsity sports and has been a driving force behind the success of Northwest athletics. His passion to improve student-athletes on and off the field is what makes him an instrumental part of the Bearcat family.
During his time at Northwest the Bearcat football team has a record of 167-26 (86%) with 10 MIAA titles and four national championships. The Bearcat men’s basketball team has a record of 359-99 (78%) with 10 MIAA titles and four national championships.
A former member of the Bearcat 1998 and 1999 national championship football teams, Quinlin earned a degree in corporate recreation and therapeutic wellness from Northwest Missouri State University in 2000. He obtained his master's from West Virginia University before returning to Maryville, Mo., in 2003.
He lives in Maryville with his wife, Kelly, and their children - son, Derek, and three daughters, Kori, Austyn and Kendyl.
